Dutch Mint coins 'Australia Five euro coin'
In honour of 400 years of friendship between the Netherlands and Australia the Royal Dutch Mint will coin a special commemorative 5 euro coin. The coin can be purchased through post offices in the Netherlands from April. The Australia coin will also be available for collectors in special editions via www.knm.nl, from April 2006.

Hihi, ik hoef lekker niet te wachten tot April voordat ik deze bijzondere munt in mijn handen kan krijgen. Ik vond er vandaag zomaar eenthe in onze UCD koektrommel, verstopt tussen Engelse drop en zuurtjes...

Ik heb er eentje gegeven aan een Australische collega, hij was er erg blij mee. En hij vierde onze 400 jaar durende band met de zin: "Ah, it's a 'dropje'..."
